Our organization is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and conscientious Pickup and Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the proper management and processing of recyclable materials within our community.
Job Description:
As a Pickup and Delivery Driver, your primary duty is to ensure the efficient and accurate collection of recycling materials from various sites, followed by unloading them at designated recycling depots. This position requires attentiveness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining the health of our environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to collect recycling materials from various locations
- Accurately unload materials at designated recycling depots
- Maintain detailed records of pickups and deliveries
- Conduct routine checks and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs consistently throughout the day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- Current phone plan for effective communication and navigation
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
