MD Legals Canada is a fast growing company, primarily provides two types of services (Canada wide): 1. Business incorporation, registration and trademark services, 2. Legal Contracts and Corporate Documents preparation. The company is a sister company of several other well-established corporations in Canada including a corporate paralegal service company, corporate registries, real estate company, corporate promotion and print company.
Job Description
Must be a Notary Public for Alberta with no limitations on their commission. Those with past customer service and paralegal experience will be preferred.
Duties:
- Provide notary public services (signature services) along with answering inbound calls and assisting clients on inquiries on notary public services, business incorporation and legal contract services.
- Organizing pre-made legal contracts such as child travel consent, statutory declaration, affidavit, wills and testament or immigration invitation letters or any custom legal documents.
- Reviewing customers' orders, payment clearance and passing to appropriate unit for business registration and incorporation.
- Responding to customers' order status and general questions, including how to place order on our website.
Expectations and Qualifications:
- Must be a Notary Public for Alberta with no limitations on their commission.
- Previous work experience in a registry or call center or a legal or paralegal firm or accounting firm could be an asset (but not required).
- Proficiency with IT or a willingness to learn the use of technology.
- Being an independent worker with minimal supervision and working with a diversified team.
Compensation and Commission:
$27.00 per hour, full time, 40 hours in a week. We may consider part time opportunity as well. In addition to regular compensation, there is a 10% commission pay for every notary public (signature) services performed.
