Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, including preparing legal documents, researching case law, maintaining client files, and managing calendars. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Organize and maintain files.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and closings.
- Prepare correspondence and other documents related to legal proceedings.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Maintain contact with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings or interviews.
