We are looking to hire motivated people, to join our team for our location in Halifax
Our customers anticipate high products, delicious food, friendly and professional service. Under the supervision of the Manager, the Chocolate Shop Clerk will efficiently serve chocolates and soft serve ice cream cones, prepare crepes or waffles in a fast-paced environment as per customer request as well as keep the workplace clean at all times including washing the dishes. The work environment consists of going up and down stairs regularly.
You will represent an international brand, advise customers on the content of prepared products and offer suggestions as required. You will also ensure that products are fully stocked and displayed in an appealing manner. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work efficiently independently and in teams are essential.
Qualifications:
Experience in retail and restaurant industry
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and professional appearance.
Available and versatile.
Desire to provide impeccable service.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
Able to keep a neat work place in a small kitchen space.
Operate cash register, process money and balance the cash at the end of the day.
Operate the soft serve machine (training provided).
Interested in learning new skills.
Some cooking experience is an asset.
French is an asset.
The successful candidates will need to take the Food Handling Course (provided and paid by the employer).
