Job Description
M.E. Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. seeks a bookkeeper for a Labour Union client with a 120 - year history in Victoria.
The applicant must have strong organizational skills and be able to work effectively to meet bookkeeping deadlines. Must be proficient in Excel and QuickBooks Desktop Pro Version software.
- Work duties include completing full cycle of bookkeeping using Fund Accounting
- Job entails review and recording of bills; preparation and recording deposits; preparation of bank reconciliations; maintaining human resources files; payroll calculations, recording and remittances;
- Recording and reconciliations of inter-fund accounts; account reconciliations;
- Preparation of monthly operating reports;
- Preparation and maintenance of union data records;
- Providing accountants documentation required to compile interim and year end financial statements;
- Fulltime position. 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
- Hourly rate $40:00, with generous benefits, including free parking.
- Office located in a professional office building in Victoria Inner Harbour area.
- Provide employment history relating to bookkeeping, along with details of post-secondary certification.
